Dominic Napolis, 86 and his wife Lois Napolis, 78 were on their way home from a confirmation at their church for a family member when they were both killed. This happened on Tuesday in Robinson Township. Lois was the driver and the investigators said Lois may have have suffered from a heart attack before the car hit a tree on Steubenville Pike. The Robinson Chief of police said the Napolis were such a wonderful couple and died the same way they were in the last 60 years, together. The chief also said Dominic probably tried to stop that car before it hit the tree but could not. We will never know if he actully did. Lois and Dominic's family was always there and very close with each other.
Livya and I chose this current event because it was very sad. Such a big thing happened so fast.The Napolis family heard the sirens go past the church but did not know it was for the couple. Until after a cop showed up at their door step later on. This tragic accident happened to some of the nicest people police chief said. The couple was married for more then 6 decades. Dominic was such a friendly guy and looked out for everyone. It didn't matter who it was he would wave to everyone who passed his house. He was often known by 'Chappy'. This story is very sad and very scary because accidents could be very serious.
