The vet also said, if the groomer had told the dog owner sooner, the vet would have been able to save the dog's ear. When the owner contacted an attorney, the attorney said that they had the same exact case a month earlier, in which a dog got it's tail cut off. What you can learn from this, is to always accompany your pet when they are getting groomed. Also, don't take your dog to a Petco in Hawaii. They are most likely unsafe, and unreliable to groom your dog. Another thing to keep in mind, always inspect the dog before you leave a grooming place. If the dog has taces of blood, ask questions.
