On March 11th, 2012 in Toulouse, France, Mohammed Merah was accused of killing seven men and injuring two men before jumping out a window to find himself dead. Merah was wanted in the killings of three French Paratroopers, three students, and a rabbi at Jewish school in Toulouse. Merah originally said that he would surrender, but later vowed to kill anybody who tried to take him into custody. Merah emerged from a bathroom as police burst in, and Merah launched a barrage of gunfire before jumping out a window, still shooting. An officer says that he had onlt two bullets left in his gun before he jumped out a window to a balcony and was found dead on the ground.
We think the event is important because a lot of these kind of attacks have been happening throughout the whole world. Nobody seems to know why Merah did this, but he did. We also think authorities did the correct thing by attempting to kill Merah, but instead they let him kill himself. The event caused 7 deaths of children and adults, and injuring two police officers in his insane shooting. We both agree that Merah was tempted to cause this event because of the economy and other similar events to this. All of us should learn that the economy is causing outrageous rampages all throughout the world. People are going crazyover what is happening everywhere in the world.
