Jessica Vega faked cancer in order to pay for an extravagant wedding and honeymoon. She is only 25 years old and pleaded guilty to getting money from sympathetic doners when she faked having cancer. this happened last month but she got out of eight weeks in jail on the 23 of May. She still has 300 days of community service to do because of the horrible crime she did. She must also return $13,368.48 to all of everyone that gave her money. she told people she was about to die at her wedding just to gain money. the scam lasted from january 2010 through june of 2010. her husband was not charged with anything and claims he had nothing to do with the horrible scheme.
