When you spend a dollar in certain departments the dollar will be worth two dollars towards fifty dollars that earns you a 10 cent discount at the Get Go gas stations. The deli, bakery, prepared foods, specialty cheese, and greeting card departments are the departments that contribute to this expanding. Fuel Perks is a Giant Eagle way of earning discounts on gas, you get the discounts by buing products at Giant Eagle. Giant Eagle also has food perks which contribute to discounts on food by going to Get Go and buying gas or washing your car.
This expansion could be good or bad because people may take advantage of the discounts. They could take advantage by driving around all day just to earn discounts on the fuel.
