A TV Anchor is Ioannina, Greece was pelted with eggs and yogurt on April 6th, 2012 during a live TV interview. The pelters were protestors angry at him for interviewing an openly neo (new) Nazi spokesman. They were angry that the TV Anchor would bring such a person on the show. They were chanting things like "You're a Nazi" or "You allow fascists in here". The reason the Greeks hate the Nazi's so much is because during WW2 Hitler invaded Greece. Not only was this nasty during the war but afterwards Greece had major economic problems for many years into the future. The Anchor just stood there for a while trying to avoid the food, but eventually he grabbed his laptop, took out his earpiece, and left the show.
We think it was pretty funny that this happened, even though we think the protestors took it a little far. They could've just sent a couple angry emails not pelt the poor TV Anchor with eggs and yogurt. The protestors though, had reason to be mad at the interview. Neo nazis have strange ideas about the world and the people in it, such as some of Adolf Hitler's ideas. Some are against Jews or African American people. That, we believe is wrong. Just because a person has a certain race or religion does NOT make them a bad person.
