Chardon, Ohio Shooting at High School
By:Dan B Adam B Well many of you have known about the shooting that just happened 3 days ago. The shooter had a .22 Ruger pistol and a knife Monday morning. This was on February 27, 2012. 5 kids shot and 3 deaths the shooter was 17 years old. The shooter is Thomas T.J. Lane of Chardon High School. He was said to be mentally unstable. The victims who died instantly or from serious injuries. Daniel Parmtor 16 years old along with two other classmates who were Demetrius Hewlin who was 16 years old and Russell King who was 17 years old. Hewlin was shot in the head and didn’t regain consciousness. King died from being brain dead. Parntor The two students who were injured but will survive are Nick Walczak who was shot twice in the neck and arm leaving him partially paralyzed. The other student was not mentioned but is alive. We decided to use this topic to show how bad things can get if someone has a gun or a weapon. Also, to tell of other tragedies like this that has happen several different places in the United States. We also found this topic interesting and a good but sad thing to learn about. We know this story is very sad but it is how life is and things like this can happen any day.
