Pitt Bomb Threats

Currently bomb threats at Pitt University are disrupting class. A couple, Seamus Johnston and Katherine Anne McCloskey are being questioned in front of a grand jury about the event. A grand jury is pretrial to find if there is enough evidence to have a trial based on the testimony. The couple denies any relation to the bomb threats, "I want to tell my story and clear my name," Johnston said. "We have absolutely nothing to do with (the threats), except for one thing the people who are making the threats caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." McCloskey commented. McCloskey said the couple received several phone threats at their own home on Friday, including one person who's said, “You’re gonna get blown up yourself.' The pair said they reported the threats to local authorities. The total number of threats since Feb. 13 passed 90. Threats have been delivered by email or on messages written at various campus locations. Authorities have not found any explosives.
