Our current event is on the genocide in Africa. Genocide is the killing of large groups of innocent people. The hardest hit country in Africa is Sudan. Innocent children are being killed. This is all because of the government. Africa is a poor country and some of the people living there are not satisfied with what is happening, which is what is leading to the genocide.
I(Josh) think that this is horrible. Africa should make a new government so that this doesn't happen. Plus, I think the U.S.A should take troops out of places that don;t need our help and send them over to Africa. This should not happen in the world and i do not want this to happen to us in the U.S.A. People do not have the right to kill people when they want to. That is wrong and should not happen. If we send troops into Africa we can help them and stop this crisis.
